Poll: Box Art Brawl: Tomodachi Life

I like the color scheme on the NA one the best, and there's not that much notable different between the box arts between that, so this is kind of a weird one in my eyes.

Judging from the color, I prefer Japanese version with Turquoise green color.
The USA version have orange background, not my favorite color but the game version that I need as the Ballad song in USA version is different with Japanese version that using Japanese Enka song.
The PAL version background color Blue looked more appealing for me, but I hate the soccer image in front cover for both USA and PAL version.

I think the North American box art is maybe a bit overcrowded, to the point where it's hard to tell what exactly you're looking at. I think I prefer the more simple Japanese and European ones, which do a good job showcasing what scenarios your Miis can find themselves in without bogging down the casual consumer with an overload of information.

Japan slightly over the European version. Like was said above NA is just too busy for me.

All the characters are more balanced out in the Japanese version.

I didn't vote this week. None of the designs really float my boat. I can usually find something that I like even with games that are not for me.

Mostly boils down to the color difference here for me and I think the North American color scheme is the best.

I like the colour scheme and layout of the Japanese one the best. It most neatly captures the chaos that is Tomodachi Life. The EU one is good too, but the giant text blurb at the bottom ruins it for me.

The NA one is a bit too cluttered; it kind of has the vibe of one of those "find the things" picture book games.

Keeping an eye on this new Switch game. I am very ignorant of what this is, but saw people keep begging for a new one and holding it in high esteem. Not sure it will be for me, but I will look for reviews on it when it comes. Do you actually control these characters? Or is it watching only? Like Sims?

I think they are all pretty good and while one could argue the NA one is to crowded, I think they got the logo right with that one.

Tomodachi Life gameplay is much like The Sims but you treat your Mii like a pet as you can give them food (or even drop it or throw it to the floor, they will pick them up and eat / drink the grubs and they will have different reactions such as liking or disliking or over the top after consumed the grubs), you can rub their head like a pet then get a few of money, you can interact with your Mii by touch them with stylus. You cannot take control of your Mii as the gameplay (3DS version) is more like touch and interact only. You can see your Mii room from any angle but when you talk with your Mii, the view will be locked on one dimension. Your Mii might be have random events such as hungry, quarrel with other Mii, thinking about romantic relationship, sick, etc so you might get something by interacting with them / helping them.
In the game there are a lot of different places with their different functional.
Some of them are shopping places, some of them are for social gathering with quirky activities such as asking random question, taking photo, playing 8 bit style turn based RPG, polling from two separated beach area by draw anything on two areas and let my Mii choose the area randomly, making my Mii singing by Solo or Group with your own choice lyrics, fortune telling to check the compatibility between every Mii, etc.
This game can be fun if you really want to play something silly for some giggle.
Also, as Indonesian people who played Tomodachi Life 3DS since June 2014, I have discovered how to make my Mii sing with Indonesian words by using English pronunciation. That was the fun part I discovered.

@Mana_Knight It's kind of like a very quirky take on the Sims where you're somewhat more hands-on but still mostly just let it play out.

Europe. American cover is too much stuffy. Often less is better. Japan has unfortunate choice of colors.

NA is the only one that has "Your Mii Here" on it. Maybe that's obvious, but I don't know the game so it's great to see it is your mii interacting and you don't have to create a new one.

I've always hated the US cover, so I'm glad that we got the European one in Australia.

But Japan's is easily the best. It looks like fun to play even if I don't know the language.

Why they changed original subtitle «Collection» to «Life» for worldwide versions?
NA one for me this week.

I think all the covers are a bit messy - to be fair, Tomodachi Life is a difficult game to describe - but I voted North America because I like the tagline and the “YOUR MII HERE” to help communicate quickly and boldly that this is a game about your Miis’ lives. I also like the NA logo the best, but that may just be nostalgia.

NA, easy. They're all busy enough you have to activate your brain to focus on any individual set of Miis. NA just has a way better color balance and way better logo.

The NA one is a mess. The little bit of breathing room for the other two covers makes them far easier to look at and understand. On top of the clutter, the NA has a giant logo that makes it worse.

Japan vs. Europe is going to come down to color, logos and banners, and character choices, since they're so similar. I prefer the choices made for the European cover just a bit more. You have Panda man(or is that ManPanda?). I think the dancers look better for Europe too, especially the one on the right. So Europe it is, by a hair.

The Green on the Japanese version does wonders compared to the EU's blue

Honestly I like all of them because they fit the game perfectly. But I prefer the US version because I grew up with it and it has more interactions between the miis.

To me this was all about color. I feel the best cover would have been the NA logo over Japan's Teal background.

I strongly dislike the banner on the bottom of the European one that explains what the game is about. That would be more suited to put on the back.

NA. It feels both more filled and organized.

I'm gonna vote Japan it has about the same amount of images as the European cover but the banner ruins it.

The North American one is a little too crowded even for this game.

On an off-topic comment, why is everyone acting like only Tomodachi Life just rose from the grave? They should also include Rhythm Heaven, last game (Megamix) was in 2015, by the time Groove comes out in 2026 it will potentially be 11 years between games.

NA for me. Japan was reasonable, but I think NA's title looks great and Europe's looks like only a couple notches above comic sans on a yellow splotch that looked okay enough for Japan but for Europe gives it a weird Nickolodeon look.

Europe wins, that "Your mii here" in the North American one is just too on the nose.

North America's art is the most chaotic and by that, I think it captures the spirit of the game the best.

I think Europe has the nicest

North America because I don't like the yellow splat behind the title in the European/Japanese versions.

Side note, since when did Tomodachi Life on 3DS become so pricey

@MH4 Yeah they definitely didn’t care much about composition with these; the goal being to advertise what activities your Miis could perform or partake in.

I like the NA logo with its cute use of quote bubbles, but it’s way too busy. I like the color scheme of the JP one and the logo fits better with the rest of the design, so I went with that one.

I voted EU because I'm familiar with it.

Oh, here in my country Indonesia, Tomodachi Life 3DS got inflated price if you can find one used copy.
The stock was also very very rare.
Glad I already got Tomodachi Life 3DS since June 2014.

I gotta vote North America on this one not only for the one I owned but I just love it the most. It has the least amount of clutter with words and the like. It overall just looks the best too, just looks the prettiest.
