Though you don't have it from the very beginning, follow the story and soon enough you'll find the paraglider in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. Returning from Breath of the Wild — and with a long series history (albeit in slightly different forms) — the glider is a powerful, comforting tool which enables you to soar majestically through Hyrule's skies and survive great falls as you explore the kingdom of Hyrule.
In an update from its predecessor, it is now possible to update your paraglider with different fabrics collected from across the kingdom and via scanning amiibo, too. We've found over 50 so far, and there may be more to come!

Addison's Fabric
Location: Help Addison put up all of the Hudson Signs across Hyrule to get the Addison Fabric.
Aerocuda Fabric
Location: Take a photo of an Aerocuda to Sayge at the Dye Shop in Hateno Village and you'll receive the Aerocuda Fabric.
Ancient-Sheikah Fabric
Unlock: To get the Ancient Sheikah Fabric, you'll need to scan a Guardian amiibo. Eventually, this item will drop.
Bokoblin Fabric
Unlock: Scan a Bokoblin amiibo to unlock the Bokoblin Fabric. Eventually, this item will drop.
Bygone-Royal Fabric
Unlock: To get the Bygone-Royal Fabric, you'll need to scan a Wind Waker Toon Zelda amiibo. Eventually, this item will drop.
Cece Fabric
Location: Visit the Dye Shop in Hateno Village and speak to Sayge. As a first-time customer, he'll gift you the Cece Fabric.
Champion's Leathers Fabric
Unlock: Scan a Tears of the Kingdom Link amiibo to unlock the Champion's Leathers Fabric. Eventually, this item will drop.
Chuchu Fabric
Location: Take a photo of a Chuchu to Sayge at the Dye Shop in Hateno Village and you'll receive the Chuchu Fabric.
Cucco Fabric
Location: Take a photo of a Cucco to Sayge at the Dye Shop in Hateno Village and you'll receive the Cucco Fabric.
Demon King Fabric
Unlock: Scan a Ganondorf amiibo to unlock the Demon King Fabric. Eventually, this item will drop.
Egg Fabric
Unlock: To get the Egg Fabric, you'll need to scan a Link's Awakening Link amiibo. Eventually, this item will drop.
Eldin-Ostrich Fabric
Location: Take a photo of an Eldin Ostrich to Sayge at the Dye Shop in Hateno Village and you'll receive the Eldin-Ostrich Fabric.
Gerudo-Champion Fabric
Unlock: Scan an Urbosa amiibo to unlock the Gerudo-Champion Fabric. Eventually, this item will drop.
Gerudo Fabric
Location: After you've finished Riju of Gerudo Town, head to the Southern Oasis Training Area near Karahatag Shrine, far south of Gerudo Town. Complete the racecourse in under 2:30 minutes and you'll be rewarded with the Gerudo Fabric.
Gerudo-King Fabric
Unlock: Scan a Ganondorf (Tears of the Kingdom) amiibo to unlock the Gerudo-King Fabric. Eventually, this item will drop.
Gleeok Fabric
Location: Take a photo of a Gleeok to Sayge at the Dye Shop in Hateno Village and you'll receive the Gleeok Fabric.
Goddess Fabric
Unlock: Scan a Zelda and Loftwing amiibo to unlock the Goddess Fabric. Eventually, this item will drop.
Goron-Champion Fabric
Unlock: Scan a Daruk amiibo to unlock the Goron-Champion Fabric. Eventually, this item will drop.
Goron Fabric
Location: After finishing Yunobo of Goron City, go to the Southern Mine in Eldin. Enter the cave, talk to the Gorons there and complete the following Side Quests: Mine-Cart Land: Open for Business!, Mine-Cart Land: Quickshot Course, and Mine-Cart Land: Death Mountain. You'll get the Goron Fabric as a reward for finishing the Death Mountain course.
Grizzlemaw-Bear Fabric
Location: Take a photo of a Grizzlemaw Bear to Sayge at the Dye Shop in Hateno Village and you'll receive the Grizzlemaw-Bear Fabric.
Horse Fabric
Location: Take a photo of a Horse to Sayge at the Dye Shop in Hateno Village and you'll receive the Horse Fabric.
Horse-God Fabric
Location: To get the Horse-God Fabric, earn five Pony Points and claim your reward from the side counter at a stable.
Hudson Construction Fabric
Location: Finish the Home on Arrange side quest in Tarry Town to get the Hudson Construction Fabric.
Hylian-Hood Fabric
Unlock: Scan a Rider Link amiibo to unlock the Hylian-Hood Fabric. Eventually, this item will drop.
Hyrule-Princess Fabric
Unlock: Scan a Breath of the Wild Zelda amiibo to unlock the Hyrule Princess Fabric. Eventually, this item will drop.
King of Red Lions Fabric
Unlock: Scan a Wind Waker Toon Link or a Smash Bros. series Toon Link amiibo to unlock the King of Red Lions Fabric. Eventually, this item will drop.
Koltin Fabric

Unlock: You need to collect every single Bubbul Gem and give them all to Koltin. You'll get the Koltin Fabric once you return to Satori Mountain after giving all of the gems to him.
Korok Fabric
Location: Finish 'The Secret Room' side quest in Korok Forest to get the Korok Fabric.
Lon Lon Ranch Fabric
Unlock: Scan a Ocarina of Time Link amiibo to unlock the Lon Lon Ranch Fabric. Eventually, this item will drop.
Lucky Clover Gazette Fabric
Location: You'll get the Lucky Clover Gazette Fabric from Penn after you complete two Lucky Clover Gazette side adventures
Lurelin Village Fabric
Location: Once you've completed the Lurelin Village Restoration Project Side Adventure, get the Rattled Ralera Side Quest and finish that. Ralera will then give you the Lurelin Village Fabric.
Lynel Fabric
Location: Take a photo of a Lynel to Sayge at the Dye Shop in Hateno Village and you'll receive the Lynel Fabric.
Majora’s Mask Fabric
Unlock: Scan a Majora's Mask Link amiibo to unlock the Majora's Mask Fabric. Eventually, this item will drop.
Mirror of Twilight Fabric
Unlock: Scan a Wolf Link amiibo to unlock the Mirror of Twilight Fabric. Eventually, this item will drop.
Monster-Control-Crew Fabric
Unlock: You need to complete all of the Bring Peace to... Side Quests. Once you've finished all six of them, you'll get the Monster-Control-Crew Fabric.
Nostalgic Fabric
Location: The Nostalgic Fabric is found in a Treasure Chest in the tower of the Temple of Time Ruins on the Great Plateau.
Ordinary Fabric
Unlock: This is the standard fabric the paraglider comes with. If you've got the paraglider, you've got this.
Pixel Fabric
Unlock: Scan an 8-Bit Link amiibo to unlock the Pixel Fabric. Eventually, this item will drop.
Princess of Twilight Fabric
Unlock: Scan a Smash Bros. series Zelda amiibo to unlock the Princess of Twilight Fabric. Eventually, this item will drop.
Princess Zelda Fabric
Unlock: Scan a Princess Zelda (Tears of the Kingdom) amiibo to unlock the Princess Zelda Fabric. Eventually, this item will drop.
Robbie's Fabric

Unlock: Complete the Hyrule Compendium and then speak to Robbie at Hateno Village to get Robbie's Fabric.
Royal Hyrulean Fabric
Location: In a chest in the Lockup of Hyrule Castle. It's to the west of the main castle. Bring bombs to blast through the floor. Aim for coordinates -0488, 1010, 0020 to find the Royal Hyrulean Fabric.
Rito-Champion Fabric
Unlock: Scan a Revali amiibo to unlock the Rito-Champion Fabric. Eventually, this item will drop.
Sheik Fabric
Unlock: Scan a Sheik amiibo to unlock the Sheik Fabric. Eventually, this item will drop.
Sheikah Fabric
Location: Not to be confused with the Sheik Fabric or the Ancient-Sheikah Fabric, the plain old Sheikah Fabric can be found in Kakariko Village.
Buy any item from the Stealth or Radiant Armour Sets in Claree's store, Enchanted, and she'll throw this in as a first-time customer bonus. (Those armour items become affordable after you've completed the Gloom-borne Illness side quest)
Stalnox Fabric
Location: Take a photo of a Stalnox to Sayge at the Dye Shop in Hateno Village and you'll receive the Stalnox Fabric.
Sword-Spirit Fabric
Unlock: Scan the Skyward Sword Link amiibo to get the Sword Spirit Fabric from a random chest.
Tunic of Memories Fabric
Unlock: Scan an Archer Link amiibo to unlock the Tunic of Memories Fabric. Eventually, this item will drop.
Yiga Fabric
Location: Get the Yiga Armour Set, infiltrate the Yiga HQ, and defeat at least three foes in the Blademaster's combat minigame to get the Yiga Fabric.
Zonai Fabric
Unlock: You'll need to complete the Side Quest Legend of the Great Sky Island, which you can get by speaking to the Steward Construct on the roof of the Temple of Time on the Great Sky Island. Clearing this will get you the Zonai Fabric.
Zonai Survey Team Fabric
Unlock: Complete the Messages from an Ancient Era Side Adventure. After showing all 12 photos to Wortsworth, you'll be rewarded with this fabric.
Zora-Champion Fabric
Unlock: Scan a Mipha amiibo to unlock the Zora-Champion Fabric. Eventually, this item will drop.
Zora Fabric
Location: After clearing Sidon of the Zora, complete The Blue Stone Side Quest at East Reservoir Lake in Lanayru.
Coming soon - Riju, Sidon, Yunobo, Tulin Fabric
The upcoming Zelda: TOTK amiibo launching on 5th June 2025 (Riju, Sidon, Yunobo, and Tulin) will each come with their own unlockable paraglider fabric.
We'll add them here as soon as we know their names, but for now just remember that there's a '+4' to this list!
